A journey between two regions is not organised like a trip across town: the duration, any stops and the patient's comfort weigh as heavily as the route itself. EMS prepares these transports case by case.

Duration changes the nature of the transport. Lying flat for several hours, the need for breaks, the patient's fatigue and the time of day all become organisational factors in their own right. An early morning departure is not prepared like a late afternoon one, and a fixed arrival time means building the whole schedule backwards from that constraint.
EMS regularly arranges journeys between the Sahel — Monastir, Sousse, Mahdia — and the rest of the country: towards Tunis, towards Sfax, inland towards Kairouan, or from the resort areas of Cap Bon. Other destinations are assessed on request. Simply give us the two cities and we will tell you what can be done.
A long journey is judged above all by its arrival. Tell us whether the patient is expected at a facility at a set time, whether they are returning to an address where somebody needs to be present, or whether another journey follows on. We set the departure time around that constraint rather than the other way round.
A long-distance quote takes account of the actual distance, the type of vehicle, the crew, how long the vehicle and crew remain committed, and whether the return leg runs empty. That is why two journeys of similar mileage can come out at different figures. We set out what the quote is made of before you decide.
