There is no single rate for medical transport. The price is built from the actual journey and the resources it requires, which is why we produce a quote for every request.

Five things weigh on the quote: the distance actually covered, the type of vehicle and how it is fitted out, the make-up of the crew, how long the vehicle and crew remain committed, and whether the return leg runs empty. That is why two journeys of comparable mileage can come out at different figures.
A published list would give a reassuring figure that almost never matches the journey requested, and would then have to be revised upwards. We would rather look at the situation and quote a figure we will stand by. You receive the quote before committing, and you remain free not to proceed.
To produce a useful quote we need the pick-up and destination addresses, the date and time you want, whether a return is needed, the patient's mobility — seated, wheelchair or stretcher — and the access conditions at both ends. The more precise these are, the more reliable the quote.
Receiving a quote does not reserve the transport or hold any slot. The booking takes effect when you accept the quote and EMS confirms availability for the agreed date.
If an insurer or assistance company is to be involved in settlement, say so with your request and put us in touch with the case handler. The arrangements are then settled directly between EMS and that third party.
