The vehicle follows the need, not the reverse
A seated journey home, a stretcher transfer and a trip lasting several hours do not call for the same configuration. So we start from the patient's situation and the constraints of the journey to determine the vehicle and how it is fitted out, rather than offering a standard category that the request then has to be squeezed into.
What is agreed before departure
The equipment carried and the make-up of the crew are settled during preparation, from what you tell us and from the instructions of the healthcare professional following the patient. We do not publish a standard equipment list: it would suggest a completeness that would not reflect what is actually deployed for your journey.
A partner network alongside our own vehicles
Depending on the destination, the timing and how busy we are, a transport may be carried out by a partner from our network rather than by the EMS team. We tell you at the point of confirmation, and you keep the same contact for preparation and for any question before departure.
Maintenance and availability
Vehicles are maintained and prepared between assignments. Actual availability depends on the transports already committed when you call, which is why we confirm a time only after checking, and never as a matter of course.
